Terms of sale and use
Plain-language terms for PowerOn Forge Premium ($25 one-time lifetime license).
1. Agreement
By installing PowerOn Forge, purchasing Premium, or using a license key, you agree to these terms. If you are buying for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The product
PowerOn Forge is a VS Code extension for developing and testing PowerOn language work offline. Free features are available without purchase. Premium unlocks additional features described on the product page (debugger, interactive HTMLVIEW, batch runner, larger mock database limits, and any other Premium items listed there at the time of purchase).
3. License grant (Premium)
Premium is sold as a one-time payment for a perpetual license to use Premium features of the then-supported extension builds, subject to these terms. Price:$25 USD unless a different amount is shown at checkout.
The license is personal to you or your organization as the purchaser. You may activate it on machines you use for your work, subject to fair use and any seat or activation limits we publish. You may not resell, rent, sublicense, or publicly redistribute license keys.
4. What “perpetual” does and does not mean
Perpetual means you keep the right to use Premium features you purchased without a recurring subscription fee for that Premium SKU. It does not guarantee that Volcan Forge will maintain the Marketplace listing, support every future VS Code version forever, or continue every feature unchanged. It also does not include future separately priced products (for example a planned AI tier) unless those are explicitly included in your purchase.
5. Trial
A 14-day Premium trial may be offered on install. Trial terms can end when the trial period ends; Free features remain available afterward unless you purchase and activate a key.
6. Delivery
After successful payment, a license key (POF-…) is emailed to the checkout address, typically from licenses@volcanforge.com. Activation uses the license API at https://volcanforge.com/api. See Supportif the email does not arrive.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe via the Payment Link on the product page. Taxes may apply based on your location and Stripe Tax settings. Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in license deactivation.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share or publish license keys
- Attempt to bypass license checks or trial limits
- Use the software in violation of applicable law or your employer’s policies
- Misrepresent PowerOn Forge as affiliated with or endorsed by Jack Henry, Symitar, or Episys
9. No affiliation
Symitar, Jack Henry, and Episys are third-party trademarks. Volcan Forge is not affiliated with or endorsed by those parties. Compatibility claims describe intended use with PowerOn workflows, not partnership.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The software is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. Volcan Forge does not warrant uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular credit-union production environment, or that offline results will match a live Symitar core in every case. You remain responsible for validation before any production use.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Volcan Forge’s total liability arising from Premium purchase or software use is limited to the amount you paid for the license that gave rise to the claim. Volcan Forge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, limits apply only to the extent allowed.
12. Refunds
Refunds are described on the Refunds page.
13. Changes
These terms may be updated for future purchases. Material changes should not silently reduce rights already granted for a completed Premium purchase without a lawful basis; a lawyer should refine this clause for your jurisdiction.
