Refund policy

How refunds work for the $25 PowerOn Forge Premium lifetime license.

Summary

Premium is a digital one-time purchase. Because a license key can be delivered and activated immediately, refunds are limited. The goal is to be fair when delivery fails or the product clearly does not work, without enabling key sharing after a refund.

14-day trial

PowerOn Forge includes a 14-day Premium trial on install so you can evaluate Premium features before buying. Please use the trial before purchasing when possible.

When we will refund

Contact support@volcanforge.com within 14 days of purchase if:

  • You paid but never received a license key after reasonable troubleshooting (see Support), or
  • A defect in PowerOn Forge prevents Premium activation or core Premium features from working on a supported VS Code version, and we cannot provide a fix or workaround in a reasonable time

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe. After a refund, the associated license key may be revoked.

When we generally will not refund

  • Change of mind after a successful key delivery and activation
  • Purchases made after the trial was available and used (or could have been used)
  • Issues caused by unsupported VS Code versions, broken local installs, or network policies that block required license validation without trying documented alternatives
  • Requests made more than 14 days after purchase, except where required by law

Cancellation

There is no subscription to cancel for the $25 Premium SKU. It is not a recurring charge. Future separately priced products (such as a planned AI tier) will state their own billing and cancellation terms if and when they are offered.

How to request a refund

Email support@volcanforge.com with the email used at checkout, approximate purchase date, and a short description of the problem. Do not include full card numbers. You may include a partial license key if needed for lookup.

Chargebacks

Please contact support before opening a dispute with your bank. Chargebacks may result in license revocation and can delay resolution.
